About Hanlie Kotzé

I was born on July 15th 1971 in Aliwal North, and studied BA Communications at UFS. My father, Kobus Kotzé was a well-known South African painter and my mother, Joe is also an artist. My poetic talent and skills developed during high school. My work is a mixture between surrealistically naive and expressionistic art. I favour symbolism in all my paintings to blend with poetry.
